Places in Eurodisney vicinity?

My extended family wants to go to Eurodisney. I'm not at all keen - it's my idea of hell - and while I'd go along for my kids' sake once they're a bit older, at their current ages (8 and 5) they'd miss out on a lot of the rides, etc. It not being something I want to do more than once, I'd rather wait until they're older.

So my idea is that we stay somewhere local to Eurodisney so we can meet up with my extended family for evening meals, etc, and maybe spend a day at ED with them, but do our own thing otherwise. So I'm looking for a place in the ED vicinity that is nice for families, has stuff to do but can be restful, and doesn't cost the earth. Does anyone have any advice, or am I dreaming?! Thanks in advance.

Val d Europe is nearby. We’ve stayed at the Adagio apartments and had no complaints. There is a train line direct to Paris if you want to go there. Val d Europe is a huge shopping centre with an Auchan supermarket.

Or look at villages nature. Similar to centre Parcs. Don’t know the price though.

Your kids won’t miss many rides at their current ages.

It's Disney Paris and its fun!!

Your dc are good ages unless very small they can go on lots of stuff.
Paris is near by...

Otherwise consider getting your family to go to efteling instead... The ammcd there is geared to larger family and whole set up is much nicer! If you are not won over by e the ammcd is nice enough to stay in all day.

Take the kids to Eurodisney.
They are the right age, this is about you!

We stayed in Villages Nature park this February (booked through the Center Parcs European website). It’s run and managed by the same group who run and manage all the French Center Parcs.

It has all the facilities and activities of a Center Parcs but is on the outskirts of the Disney site (the Davy Crockett lodges are just over the fence).

There are shuttle buses several times daily to Disney.
