Not the best of areas for outings (I used to live near there and was constantly driving elsewhere for things to do), however:

Hounslow Urban Farm and the play gym at the Heathrow Gymnastics Club are nearby, allow say max 2 hours for the farm (which is on the small size) and 1 hour session for the play gym. Or you could go for a picnic in Cranford Country Park which is right by junction 3 of the M4. There's a play area, nature trails and lots of space to run around.

If you can go a bit further from the hotel I would suggest Kew Gardens or Syon Park.

We went to Heathrow Airport Visitors Centre the other day (think it is called Heathrow Academy now).

There isn't much to it at all (and it would suit an older child, i.e. not a toddler) but it does have a good view of one of the landing runways (if you like planes - although staying where you are, you'll probably have had enough of them by then ).
