Hi,
We have a very very rare weekend child free in November, we want to go some special for my partners 40th... we literally only have Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. Can be here or abroad but I just need some inspiration!
Don’t want to waste too much traveling... we are in the midlands.
We don’t want to go anywhere we have been so no London, Paris, Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, Dubrovnik, Berlin. Can you anyone tell me where to go please?!
Budget isn’t massive.... maybe £500
Thanks

Faro
Easy flight. Nice town. Will be pleasant weather.

Copenhagen?

Doggotired · 14/09/2019 17:50

Hmm.... Copenhagen is an idea, have you been? Forgot to say have been to faro also, never been to Dublin though! Is it expensive when you are there? Thanks!

I went to Copenhagen for a birthday in November & found it to be the wrong time of year to go.
Lisbon? Madrid?

happytoday73 · 14/09/2019 17:58

Oh or Barcelona

OliviaBenson · 14/09/2019 17:58

Valencia. Bergan. Brussels/Bruge. All fab places.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/09/2019 18:01

I didn't like Dublin much and the pubs and restaurants were very expensive.

How about a couple of nights in London or Glasgow?

I liked Belfast and much cheaper than Dublin.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/09/2019 18:02

Dublin wasn't that bad in terms of price when i was there,we ate at modest restaurants and stayed in a bnb so breakfast was included x

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/09/2019 18:02

Belfast is also nice as pp has said x

pastaparadise · 14/09/2019 18:06

If UK how about Edinburgh?
Seville would still be nice weather if flight times are convenient.

Doggotired · 14/09/2019 18:09

Thank you everyone, I will have a look tonight at all these and see what I can find. I love going places but really hate finding where to go 😂

Krakow or Wroclaw? I've not been to either helpful! But I know people who have and say they're lovely places.
