Bowood House adventure playground - v good imo

take a picnic, stay all day. v good for primary school age, not so much for babies.
stuffed with mumsnetters I reckon

oh and you can go in the house too, if you like and the gardens.
and there is an indoor soft play bit.

quite a good gift shop too
and a very scary slide called a Death Drop or like something out of Final Dstination 3
