Just me and 4 yr old dd, she's a good flier. I'm used to travelling before and with her but now tied into dreaded school holidats as i work term time only. I will be in desperate need of sun by then! Is red sea the cheapest option? Plan is to book a flight and then stat in fairly basic accommodation- been to purchase before, also Mexico and Cuba but think these are a bit too far. Would go to goa but she's likely to get sick (been to India many times and rarely escape), any other ideas? Sunny and cheap please?

Not cheap, but Dubai would be warm and there’s loads to do with kids.

Canaries, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Egypt, not sure how cheap Dubai or Oman would be, but they would be warm.

Tunisia and Morocco won’t be that warm in Feb (Tunisia average is 18 degrees). The UAE isn’t particularly cheap & Oman even more so. For a cheapie week in the sun, the Canaries are probably the best bet? Egypt I’m sure you’d be fine if you just want to be hotel based but otherwise might not be especially safe & Cape Verde doesn’t seem to have much going for it.
