Hi, we have a week booked in Brittany next summer. Thinking of tagging on a visit to Disney land Paris. Anyone ever just been for the day? Is it terribly expensive? We would need 2 nights in a hotel as well I guess. Any recommendations? Thanks

My friends went for one day last May holidays & really enjoyed it. Got loads done. There's an area just one stop away on the train called val d Europe that has rentals. Maybe they Airbnb.

Re expense, take in your own food & snacks as the food is really expensive and not great.

Train station is literally at park gates so would just stay a couple of stops away. It is split into two parks - studios and magic kingdom so I would just pick one and do it properly (I would say you could skip the studios). Outside of these is the village which is shops and restaurants. You can do the kingdom in a day with some planning and make sure you can watch the parade and illuminations which are amazing but late on so will be a long day. Snacks/sandwiches are fine you just can’t take a whole picnic set up.

If only going once it maybe worth paying for the experiences. We did princess lunch which cost a fortune but meant we were fed well and met all the princesses in one hit so no queuing for them around the park. But we have no plans to return so really went for it. Was brilliant and really enjoyed the whole thing

It is expensive! If you can locate reasonably priced tickets then there's plenty of non Disney hotels nearby which are a not cheaper than the Disney ones, there's a large supermarket too for supplies. Personally I would see if you can manage 2 days because it's very crowded, takes ages to do anything
