I'm going to Thailand and I have 30kg allowance, I'm not taking a lot of things so my bag won't be full on the way there but planing on bringing back gifts etc so I would like to know what size bag is the correct size for 30kg Hmm

I know it depends what's inside but a rough idea would be great Smile

The standard large size in most small/medium/large suitcase sets. The medium size will usually hold around 20kg.

30 kg is very heavy! I would take a medium expandable bag. I have Samsonite which are excellent and get a 4 wheel spinner.

Or get a large bag but most airlines have a 23 kg limit.

We've got 30kgs too on our Thailand flights (4x30kgs Shock) - would agree large suitcase if you are planning on using that allowance. If you have other flights on check its not lower - we have further flights at 20kgs each.

We do month trips to Thailand got our bag weight down to 8kg
Wash as you go and buy new when needed.

Normal size suitcase

Please don't try and fill one bag to 30kg- you (and the poor baggage handlers) will hurt yourself! Does it have to be just one bag? Or can you put a second soft bag inside the first one?
