Recommendations for hotels / resorts in Croatia
Liltzero · 09/09/2019 21:44
Seeking recommendations for a hotel / resort in Croatia for my two boys 15 and 13) and myself. Must have sea views, pool, some kind of activity schedule, half board or all inclusive.
Thanks in advance

Family Life Bellevue has a full sports activity program and a teen hangout area.
Morenia also has a teen club with consoles and an inflatable aqua park in the sea.
Sun Gardens has a children’s sports academy for 7-15 year olds and a tweens and teens club.

We stayed in Baska Voda the first time we went, and loved it. Flights are to Split.

No hotel recommendations but just to say it's one of the most scenic countries I've been to. We preferred the Istrian coast (north) and the islands (ferries from Split) to the resorts closer to Dubrovnik (south) but it's all lovely.

Following with interest I have fancied Croatia for years (but can’t decide where to go and concerned it may be too hot in July August) but HB or BB rather than AI. Have the same requirements as you OP mine will be 15 and 16 (a boy and a girl). Thought about s/c and travelling to two to four places but the kids enjoying meeting other kids and we want some down time to chill don’t want to be trashing around sightseeing every day. Also what is the food like?
Has anyone stayed at the places listed and what was the room set up like would they accommodate two parents and a teenage male and female.

Budget about 4.5k -5k maximum which doesn’t seem doable as end up having to pay for two rooms.

Watching with interest. Everything seems pricey and chintzy.

Neilsons near Zadar. Fabulous, 50m pool, amazing activities included. Great food.

We stayed in valamar club in lapad. Is a short bus journey to dubrovnik which is lovely. Small cluster of shops and bars local and a lovely beach setting. Food basic but we are easily pleased and had something at all times(typical all inclusive) plenty kids activities would def revisit

Thanks all I have been on Trip Forum looking at Croatia (I was thinking somewhere in the middle as I can fly to Split easily but I can’t decide on a destination or s/c accommodation holiday prices are through the roof this year) also looking at Algarve. Really would prefer access to some activities for the teens so they aren’t bored (and we get some down time to read and relax in the shade).

Yes thank you but unfortunately even modifying our dates to go at a cheaper time it’s coming out just under 8K for our family. Also I didn’t really want to go AI. As part of the holiday for us is having a little stroll to a different restaurant each night.
