Most appreciate any ideas for half term next May. We get two weeks off in our local authority, so it's the perfect time to get abroad before the main Summer holiday prices.
This year we've been on two one week holidays to Denmark and Germany. Had a lovely time but they weren't very relaxing, as we were doing lots of trips! Next year I feel like I need a longer break so we get more time to relax.
Prior to this we've spent a couple of years on the South France coast at a 5 star campsite (in a cabin). Lovely facilities with swimming pools, slides, beach on the door step etc.
My DS will be 6 and he would be most happy having a good pool complex to play in. I'm open to self catering or a hotel, as long as the food is local and not burgers and chips.
Definitely want to head somewhere where the weather will be good. Any ideas on destination/a good place to stay with that aged child?
