Question for all travelling contact lens wearers!

Hi

Just a quickie regarding flying with contact lenses. Last year I travelled straight after the scare when everything really tightened up. At that time I wasn't even allowed to carry daily disposable contact lens in my hand luggage because each little pack contained about a teaspoon of liquid.

Can anyone enlighten me on the restrictions now? I know that you can't carry any one item which contains over 100 ml in hand luggage, so I'm assuming that contact lens as described above are okay?

Thanks alot

I flew last oct with my spare pair in my handbag (which I had actually forgotten about), I wasn't picked up on them at all.
Not sure on how the regs apply though.
