How much money do I need?

How much money will I need for four for a week in Salou? It will be me, dh and 2 dc (17 and 11).

Crikey how long is a piece of string? Are you self catering, what sort of things do you like to do on holiday?

Ah ye some info would be useful.
We are self catering yes, not big drinkers, we want to go to Port Aventura and maybe Barcelona for a day, probably some boating or water based activities.

Train transport is cheap , but because the pound is so low everything is much more expensive this year. Just bring what you can afford and take it from there!

I'd take £1500 plus an emergency card if you can afford to. Port Aventura will be £200, another £200 for water sports, £120 a day for meals and snacks, £300 for incidentals such as taxis, transfers, souvenirs, crap the kids want etc etc
