Villa holiday without car

Can anyone please recommend resorts, or even better, particular villas, for a famliy of four,where no car is needed?

We're open as to which country but villa needs to have a private pool and be within walking distance of restaurants and some shops/things to do with the possibility of getting around a bit on public tranpsort.

Hi, I cannot drive and dh wont drive abroad but we love villa holidays.
Alcudia in Majorca and Calan Forcat in Menorca are both great without cars. Both are busier and more commercial than other resorts in both islands. However with small children you will have a blast.
We use Villa Plus but James Villas also do both locations. Get private transfers to/ from airport and you will have a lovely holisy.

We did a villa plus in Menorca a few years ago that had private pool, walkable to the beach and town and there was a bus ride to a few other towns nearby that was easy to navigate too. I think it was Callan Porter we stayed.

There are villa plus villas, and privately advertised ones in Carvoeiro in the algarve, within walking distance of the beach shops restaurants etc

Not cheap, but this villa is in the centre of Pollensa in Mallorca, so close to the shops and restaurants. Buses are good on Mallorca too for getting around. So even if this one doesn't suit, you could search for something similar in the area.

We do this every holiday with no problems. Croatia is pretty doable check out cavtat pula and Split.

I've done Nerja as a PP has. When I was in Menorca Cala'n Blanes, Cala'n Forcat was full of Villas for rent. No car necessary.

Have a look at Coral Bay in Cyprus.

Dalyan in Turkey. Very flat, and unless you stay on the very outskirts of the village, maximum you would walk to the centre would be 15 minutes.

It's a gorgeous place.
