Where is a fun place to go for 4/5 days?

I want to take my 14 year old DD somewhere next week. Does anyone have any suggestions? Either thinking of taking Eurostar somewhere or a cheap flight. We are based near Guildford. I won't be hiring a car so need somewhere we can walk from unless we find a cheap beach deal.

What do you like to do on holiday?

Try Jersey, stay in St Helier and use public transport or hire bikes

If you want hotter, maybe Malta.

Ibiza is fun. Or Amsterdam? I took my teen to Amsterdam.

How did you get to Amsterdam and where did you stay? Did you find nice places to eat out?

Actually we had a lovely time. We flew on easyjet or similar and stayed in an air b n b near the park - can't remember what it's called, but it's the main park and away from all the stag and hen things.

We went to Anne Franks house, the rembrandt exhibituion, the cheese museum and stuff like that. We rode bikes. We found nice local cafes and brunches (I let him guide me, using lonely planet).

I also took him to Krakow where it was lovely too. But he likes art galleries and museums so he's easy . But also lovely food.

Berlin. Tons to see and do

Think you have left it too late for cheap flights. Otherwise Rome is very fun, masses to see everywhere you turn. Very quick and easy from the airport.
Last minute cruise? The short 5 day ones go to Amsterdam / France or Channel Islands.

Annecy by Eurostar and TGV.
Biarritz is fabulous with lovely beaches. Very walkable city.
Reykjavik
Valencia

Because of the BA strike we decided to take the Eurostar and stayed in a great hotel in Bruges. Absolutely loved it there. Eurostar did some great deals including train and hotel combo. Hired some bikes for 9 Euro each and biked along the canal for hours. It was really magical and really easy.
