Planning next years holiday and thinking about Corsica

My children will be 15 & 12

They love swimming (pools not sea)

We can go early in the season (10th July) I wonder if it worth it?

I understand it has a condensed holiday season!

Any ideas in temperature? Is it humid?

Thanks everyone 😊

We had a cruise day there in Ajaccio. Beautiful town but blisteringly hot. We were there around the time you mentioned. May be 7 or 8 July. Ended up back on the boat quite early because of the heat.

On way home today from Calvi. Beautiful place. Beach excellent for kids, shallow waters quite far out. It is however expensive to eat out so would go for self catering.

Look up Corsican places they are the main tour operator.

Try Simpson - we went with them to the south of the island and had a great time. Lovely villa with pool.

Interesting that it was really hot 🥵

This was my concern but internet was suggesting it is usually 25 at this time if year!

Other suggestions greatly received Wink

There are wonderful hotels with pools up in the hills. It is v expensive in the coastal resorts.

Best holiday we ever had was in Corsica. We stayed in a Yelloh Village there which has chalets right on the beach and nice pools. Kids had an amazing time and it wasn't at all crowded.
