Do your teenage/university age students have status with an airline?

DD aged 19 loves flying and traveling, she budgets to mean she can afford to do it through tight day to day living/ working whenever she can. She is OneWorld Ruby so not difficult to achieve, but her travel buddy is the next level up. To me it seems crazy that such young people have status with airlines so early on!

My ds does, but we live overseas so he does a lot of travel to and from China. He's also 19.

I can’t see why you’re so perplexed. Families travel, and each person earns their own air miles. What’s so ‘crazy’ about that?
