I have a two bedroom house in Spain that is let out fairly solidly from March through to October. Most of my rentals are from Scandinavian countries and Germany, Austria etc, but I also have some rentals from the rest of the UK (I tend to be here for English school holidays).
We have a mixture of couples and families holidaying with children or sometimes parents, a grandparent and one child. I don’t have children myself, so when I am here, there tends to be a spare room unless my friends come over.
Currently, we have two single beds in the ‘spare’ room which are often pushed together for couples staying and I am considering changing the two singles to a double bed. This means I could get an ottoman bed for storage as well as creating a bit more room around the sides of the bed.
My question to you all is would - you be less likely to book the room for your children if it was a double bed rather than two singles? I know my friends and family would not be bothered about sharing the double bed, but what do others think?
