Just that. Kids will be 17,13,8,3. We've done centre parcs but would like to try eurocamp. Must be hot. Must be near a beach.

Duinrell in Holland. We went last summer and it was very hot. Beach either is a 2 minute drive or a 10 min bike ride. Its a fabulous place

Partridgeamongstthepigeons · 27/08/2019 18:49

Duinrell is great but not a hot holiday I would say. Check out the south west of France campsites with lots for teens to do.

Rayn · 27/08/2019 18:53

We have just done Eurocamp but to be honest there are better companies out there. Canvas, Europarcs, lifestyle holidays. Eurocamp accommodation the last couple of times I have been has been appalling. Good campsites for teenagers are Castell montgri in Spain and La Baume in South of France.

OptimusRhyme · 27/08/2019 19:10

Which ones @Partridgeamongstthepigeons ? Any ideas would be great as we've never been.

@Rayn I was hoping for better than appalling really. Which company would you recommend for good quality accommodation?

I haven't been with my teens but in their brochures the teen friendly ones all seem to be in SW France or Spain. Sadly DS1 didn't want to go on holiday with us after 15 and DS2 has severe ASD so he is more into toddler activities despite being 15.

Partridgeamongstthepigeons · 27/08/2019 20:40

I have been to Duinrell. DS2 loved it. DS1 found it ok (bit young for him at 14).

Rayn · 27/08/2019 23:23

@OptimusRhyme I used to be a courier on campsites years ago for different companies. Europarcs and Canvas are better. Oh and Vacancesoleil
If you.want the weather then head to Spain or South of France.

Playa Montroig is a good one in Spain as well for all your age groups.

samlovesdilys · 28/08/2019 15:55

St Avits in dordogne if you want waterpark facilities (but les paradis if a pool is enough)!!

OptimusRhyme · 28/08/2019 18:23

I think a water park would be very well received.

Union Lido in Italy is very good. Or Parc Albatros. Siblu La Carabasse has beach, fun fair, minigolf, restaurants within 10 min walk.

RolyWatts · 29/08/2019 10:20

I second the Italian ones.. Union Lido good for teens. Cheap flights to Venice. My advice is to find the campsite by looking on Canvas, Eurocamp etc but then go directly to the camp website and book directly. It's cheaper and often their own caravan stock is newer/better than those owned by Canvas etc. We got a 14 day holiday direct from campsite for the same price as Eurocamp were charging for 10 days.

fedup2017 · 29/08/2019 10:22

Either union lido if you want full on water parks or ca'savio along the same strip if you prefer something quieter. Can't beat that part of Italy really.
I loved plays montroig too if you fancy Spain but not sure eurocamp ho there- you may need to book direct

Mackerz · 29/08/2019 10:35

Reading with interest as we’re looking for next year.

TokyoSushi · 29/08/2019 10:43

Yes us too, I was looking at La Baume but open to options!

SarBear1980 · 29/08/2019 18:59

Check out the Sandaya and Le Castels sites in France - we’ve had 4 years and booked again for next year with these companies...we’ve done a mix of our own tent, safari tents and chalets. All been great!

CaurnieBred · 31/08/2019 12:07

We went with Siblu this year to La Palymere to one of their Excellence chalets (with aircon, dishwasher and washing machine). It was fantastic. The decked area also had rattan cushioned furniture. I would try them and look at that level.

gabsdot45 · 07/09/2019 15:04

I've been to 2 in Italy
Bella Italia, right on Lake Garda. Beautiful place with lots of things to do in the area and the park was really nice. We had a mobile home.

C'savio, near Venice. Right on a beautiful beach. Great park lots to do. We had a tent this time. It was fine quite comfortable.

Both highly recommended

SunnivaGunne · 07/09/2019 15:05

Yelloh campsites in France are excellent with good accommodation.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 07/09/2019 15:12

Union Lido or Bella Italia for Italy. Also love Camping Fabulous if you’d like to do Rome as well. Castell Montrgrifor Spain is great for teens but really busy in high season, also Sanguli in Spain. I’d agree with PP that eurocamp are going down hill do shop around other operators

ChittyChittyBoomBoom · 07/09/2019 15:13

We’ve been to La Baume and Sanguli. Both 5 star resorts and both lovely but Sanguli was by FAR the best.

The site is absolutely fantastic! Brilliantly themed and very well kept. I think there are 5 pools with slides but nit huge ones, I have to say. There’s quite a bit sports wise going on for teens and only a short walk to the beach.

I really recommend this site!

lovemenorca · 07/09/2019 15:25

Any thoughts on yelloh?

I’m looking st Serignan plage

But total notice at this kind of holiday!

hillbilly · 07/09/2019 15:51

@ChittyChittyBoomBoom do you know if there is fridge rental at Sanguli?

ChittyChittyBoomBoom · 07/09/2019 15:56

@hillbilly do you mean for tents?

Alwaysfrank · 07/09/2019 16:20

We love Serignan Plage. There are two Yelloh sites there with direct beach access, Aloha is smaller. We love it there and book direct with Yelloh. Serignan Plage itself doesn't have anything there really apart from the campsites and beach. Vias nearby has a lively town but the beaches are not as good.
