Any recommendations please? We’ll be going with our 16 and nearly-15yo girls - one is not at all sporty so will need social stuff/entertainment, not just watersports etc.

Thank you!

Depends on your budget - my (loaded) friend swears by the Forte Village in Sardinia sigh - have you looked at Club Med?

samlovesdilys · 28/08/2019 15:51

Costs...but Mark Warner is fab for this, has loads of water sports but also social activities, the kids seemed to find their own group...or a cruise???

lawn · 28/08/2019 16:04

Thanks both - will check those out

Second a cruise - I never saw DS15 all week except for dinner.

We did msc bellisima round the med

Plase my parents are taking my teens to Dubai on the Bellisima next Feb. Dc will be 15 & 16, how did yours find it??

PaquitaVariation · 29/08/2019 20:15

I would say a cruise too. Plenty to do for everyone and no chance of having to go anywhere near a supermarket or kitchen.

thekingfisher · 29/08/2019 20:23

costa navarino
Sani

Plasebeafleabite · 29/08/2019 20:30

Lovely new boat @boredboredboredboredbored

DS made friends in 15-17 club first day then hung with them all week except days we dragged him off for trips

They have basketball court that is also used for football, rest of time they were in the main pool etc

OP they do yacht club if your DH is a bit sniffy about cruising, which has its own area and dining

Plasebeafleabite · 29/08/2019 20:32

Should say it was mixed group not just boys

lawn · 30/08/2019 05:39

Cruise is vetoed by DH and DD1 ....

Thanks for the lovely Greece suggestions- I should’ve said we were in Greece this year so would prefer elsewhere for 2020. But I’ll make a note of the recommendations.

Ibiza. They will be entertained just seeing it. It's really cool. You can balance that with exploring the rest of the island as a family and enjoying the sunsets.
It's getting a balance right at that age. They'll probably earn a lot of Kudos amongst their peers too Grin

I would recommend Turkey. We've just come back from there and it was amazing (Royal Wings Hotel). Lots for my 16 year old to do - he was never bored..... and never on his phone! The hotel has a waterpark so between that and the various activities in the hotel he was kept busy (whilst we relaxed!).

onyourway · 30/08/2019 06:09

Mark Warner or Neillson holidays would suit you all.

lawn · 30/08/2019 06:21

Great thanks will check out Royal Wings.

Monty27 which resort in Ibiza?

I will have a 15 and 16 year old boy and girl and looking ahead to next year both are good mixers and will try most things once.
Also looking for ideas for 2 week 10 day holiday from mid July next year. Somewhere with a cooling breeze, things for kids to do, enough space in accommodation for sleeping arrangements (two full size decent beds for kids) and a bed for us (not sofa beds) nice meals out for us.
We usually bypass the AI but would consider if good quality budget 4.5K max budget for AI but would consider an apart hotel or b&b and eat out. Resort, company and accommodations gratefully received.
