Hi ladies if MN

Have arrived in France today and on the way down to where we are staying my husband has gone up the back of someone at a junction. Not a huge amount of damage to the car we hit but our Mondeo estate has a raised bonnet and a nice dent. We are only 50 mins away from where we are staying to continuing there - car is working but our insurance company has a system outage till Monday so just after some advice as we are having a slight panic. Car is not really drivable back to the UK - what will the insurance company do - we have all the correct overseas gubbins. We won’t have to cut our holiday short?? Thanks ladies (and men) any advice be gratefully received.

Are you in RAC, AA etc? They might be able to give advice.
Have you tried 'phoning your ins. co. if they're unavailable on-line?

Thanks for the response. Yes I did call them and they have asked us to wait till Monday. Have calmed down a little since it happened and won’t let it define our holiday. Car is drivable - just has a dodgy bonnet but seems secure. Hopefully will have an answer Monday. Our littlest DD (2 in 2 weeks) also has a temperature this evening so just adding to what has been a pretty rubbish day. Luckily I now have wine.
