FLORIDA in 4 days ,with kids

We will have four days in Florida December time before spending Christmas in New York. No Orlando as we are going there with family next year, so need suggestions on things to do in south Florida (around Miami but not in Miami if that makes sense?). DC are 9 & a baby. Advice appreciated !

It really depends where you're actually staying - Florida is a big place, even south Florida. But if you're south of Maimi I'd visit the Keys, and if you're north then there are endless beaches. Definitely do an airboat tour of the Everglades.
