Want to plan a special birthday trip for October. I am a bit overwhelmed by choice. Anyone stayed anywhere lovely? Nice restaurant recommendations also much appreciated.

We stayed at this one:

www.booking.com/hotel/es/apartamentos-santiago-27.en-gb.html?label=gen173nr-1FCAEoggI46AdIM1gEaFCIAQGYAQm4ARnIAQzYAQHoAQH4AQuIAgGoAgO4AsTtiusFwAIB;sid=e8eab2f0faafb57c912aa6a3847d9f6e

It's an apartment though and maybe more budget than you are after. But it is a lovely old building surrounding a courtyard garden Was great sitting out on the balcony in the evening with a bacardi x

We stayed in the Petit Palace Santa Crux.
Central enough.
Quiet
Walk to the sights
close to restaurants.
Amazing building with roman ruins in the basement.
Ask to see the ceiling, special, In room 9 I think.

Hotel fernando ||| was lovely! Fairly central ...3min walk to cathedrals etc

La bartola for tapas. It was featured in the ny times!

Ayre Hotel Sevilla was very nice, although it’s a 15-20 min into the centre. Very close the train station, if you are arriving and leaving by train.

La bartola recommendation seconded! Directly opposite the aforementioned Hotel Fernando.... handy for when youve had a few to many Tinto Verano or Sangria
