Title says it all really!!!

I have the letter J in my mind but might be totally wrong!!
It is a large hotel and may be part of a chain......

sorry to be vague!

Hmmm... I don't know how much that one is but there is the achingly trendy Point Hotel . Is that any better? I'll keep thinking....

There's also a fairly central new Novotel in Lauriston Place, might be worth checking that.

popsycal · 20/09/2004 20:31

how close to the train station tamum?

Point Hotel about 10 minutes by bus, 5 by taxi, 15-20 minute walk. About the same for the Novotel but in the other direction. I don't think you'll get anything very cheap that's really close to be honest, but I will try and think of others if you want

I stayed in the Acorn Lodge guest house on Pilrig Street (off Leith Walk) - about a 20 min walk from the station, but Pilrig Street is on many nuse routes down to Leith. I stayed there the week before CHristmas a couple of years ago and it was 24.50 for B and B - not a bad place.....but not a hotel so might not be what you want. Do a google for Acorn Lodge (I thinkt hat there are actually 2 so make sure you get the right one!!)
