Hi all

I've just come back to Majorca and want to take my little boy away in the October half term, thing is it's quite late being w/c 21st, does anyone have any suggestions please?

I was looking at AI resorts so it's okay if some of the area is closed due to low season, I was thinking Cyprus maybe quite warm, but have heard Tenerife/Lanzarote?

Any ideas would be welcome please and thank you 😊

Canary islands in Oct half term are usually lovely. We've been a few times. We had good advice though about picking low rise accommodation if centred around a pool. That way the pool doesn't get loads of shade from the buildings so keeps the water warmer.

You'll probably get a good deal as I think most schools half term is the following week.

Canaries should be warm enough that time of year, but as a result prices are usually pretty high, I'd make sure the pool was heated . Cyprus and Portugal may be warm, but it's less guaranteed and that is reflected in lower prices.

We’ve just booked Turkey for the same week. We’re staying at the Swandor hotel in Antalya all inclusive and got a good deal with Thomas Cook. The weather looks like it should be good but not red hot and the hotel looks amazing! The prices were double for the same standard hotel in Cyprus or the Canary Islands.
