Does anyone know where I can find these please? I am pricing up interrailing UK ->Germany ->Denmark -> Sweden but the interrail site seems a bit ...restricted? So it's hard to figure out how much it could all cost...

Have a look at seat61.com for loads and loads of train info. It will tell you the best websites for booking. I know on Bahn.de you can easily book just sears, but don't know about Denmark and Sweden. Seat reservations on their own are normally between 5 and 10 euros.

Seat reservations vary hugely by country. From Switzerland where they are almost never obligatory to France where they very often are and can cost a lot.
I agree with pp that the seat61 website is v helpful. Then bahn.com for working out times and which company operates which train, then each separate company website for the reservations themselves.

We had a bit of a disaster with DD's interrail ticket when I discovered two days before travel that it had the wrong dates on it. I ended up buying point to point tickets from The Trainline. I found that the tickets cost very little more and there were far fewer restrictions on which trains she could travel on. I think the Trainline tickets included reservations, but I can't be sure.

I got a refund from Interrail BTW.
