It doesn't specify what's included which is a bit annoying

yogimum · 03/08/2007 21:28

apparently everything, massage, childcare, workshops, classes, food, and a goody bag

I looked at the reviews of the venue on tripadvisor - mixed

yogimum · 07/08/2007 06:59

thanks, I'll have a look. The car journey would concern me as ds hates been in the carseat for more than about 20 mins!

Very lovely - lovely food, lovely massage, yoga which is not embarrassing even if you are quite out of practice, lovely comfy room. Also you can get the train so don't have to go in a car...

is there anything similar, not so far, and not so expensive?

am desperate to get away from DH and DS1 for some quiet time with DS2, and the chance of some relaxation from the daily round of housework etc... mamaheaven sounds great, but a real schlep, and terribly expensive. even one night would be great

I just got back from a Mamaheaven weekend www.mamaheaven.org - it was amazing. I have come back a new woman with, not only great ideas for feeding and playing with my baby, Tom, but also with a deeper understanding of what it is to be a mother. Since he was born 6 months ago, I have not really stopped to think about it or really to enjoy him as I have been worried about getting back to work and how it will affect him, weaning etc.... . This last weekend really grounded me. Highly recommended. Tamara
