Do I have to tell Passport Office if I change address?

I need to show my passport as evidence of ID, but have moved house since it was issued.

No because a passport is not proof of address

Thank you. It was just a thought I had, as I have only recently found out you need to inform the DVLA if you move house. Not sure why that is.

You need to inform the DVLA because your address is on your driving licence

Address is on driving licence, it is not on your passport
