Does anyone know Austria? Mayrhofen or Neustift?

We have the opportunity to go to either Mayrhofen or Neustift next summer for a walking break. Taking teenagers.

Has anyone been to either place so I could get a feel for either? I have no clue which to pick.

Mayrhofen and the Zillertal Valley are beautiful, and the Zillertal railway makes exploring really easy, so much to see and do.

Nearest we've been in Hintertux which is 14 miles from Mayrhofen - very beautiful in Hintertux and an ice palace at top of mountain and there's snow and skiing all year on the glacier there. We went in May, think there's whitewater rafting etc in wider area in summer. Hintertux itself was small, more for a few days or excursions by car but hotel was great there, stayed in the Kinderhotel.
