Anyone been to Kosice or Bratislava? What would you recommend to do? How easy is it to travel between cities by train?

We spent 3 days in Bratislava last month, travelling from Prague and then onto Budapest by train. I really liked it, but I think 3 or 4 days is enough. We did the city tour on a little open top bus. The UFO tower. Lots of sitting on sunny terraces and a communist tour. Preferred it to Prague as much less busy.

The trains were really simple, though I booked mine online before travelling.

I've been to Kosice as a stopover between Poprad and Budapest. It's perfectly nice but not that exciting. The musical/light show fountain in the centre is mostly what I remember!

Spent a day in Bratislava waiting for a flight back after travelling in Central Europe. Not much to see tbh, and the people were the rudest I have ever met. I wouldn't recommend more than half a day there

Don't tell me that! I am spending 2 days in both!!

Free walking tours might be my saviour.
