Hi all

We’re off to Florida in a few weeks and are staying at the Rosen Inn International. We are not hiring a car.
The hotel does comp shuttles to Universal but nothing to Disney.
Has anyone used public transport to Disney from International Drive?
Thanks

Why not rent a car? Then you can get out to restaurants and so on.

We used either a taxi or Uber. I cannot recall of any public transport to Disney from there.

There are plenty of restaurants in the general area you are staying and particularly south of Sandlake Road.

I would take a taxi or Uber. You could take the lynx bus but it will take over an hour and I think you have to change buses on route.

I wouldn’t hire a car unless you will want it for other things as the parking at Disney is $$$$$

It would take ages, and involve a change and waiting around. I would use uber or hire a car.

I would also speak to your hotel, as although they don’t offer a free shuttle to Disney it says you can book one for a fee with them. It may be cheaper than a taxi.

There are buses but it's going to take 1 hr 45 minutes for a short journey of about 10 miles.

Is that the Rosen closest to Universal or the bigger one? I stayed at the first. I’d use Uber, although we hired a car and went other places apart from Disney like Kennedy and Florida Mall. To get up and down I drive there’s the I bus.

Catch the Lynx 8 to Seaworld then cross the road to catch the Lynx 50 to Disney Transportation center. From here you can get the free shuttle to any of the Disney parks.

But still. Three separate buses when she could just jump in an Uber and be there in 15 minutes.

Be MUCH easier to hire a car.

Otherwise Uber is best. You don't want to waste 1hr+ getting to the parks and it's unlikely to work late at night after fireworks.
