Driving through Austria and Germany idea for a city stop?

With family, 8 and 11 yo children. I am thinking about stopping for a city break as driving from Slovenia. Is there a museum to see with kids? Not sure if it is a good idea at all...

Germany is full of good places to go with children. Where exactly do you plan to drive through?

If you drive via Munich that can be an ideal spot. There is also a route via Nürnberg, also a good city to explore.

But it also depends on the age of your children.

Google Europapark Rust, that may be a good stop as well, depending on what you like.

Another nice area is the Lake Constanz.
