Collecting from Luton Airport

I'm going to collect my adult DD from Luton airport soon and was wondering how long it takes from getting off the plane to walking though arrivals. I need to work out what time to arrive there.

We arrived in to Luton last night at 8 and were at the car park by 9, even with having to use the family queue because DS is too young to use the e-gates.
It was surprisingly quick, and would be quicker if coming through with just hand luggage.

Last twice I’ve landed at Luton, the passport queues were bad, so it could be more than an hour, less than 2 hours, though. These were late flights, 10.00pm-ish.

It’s a problem at Luton because of the outrageous charges for pick up parking. You can get a free hour in long term so maybe think about parking up there and then moving closer once she’s ready for pick-up.

Or assume one and a half to two hours and she’ll have to wait for you if she’s earlier.

Thanks Hedda. Her plane actually got in early so she had to wait around. Parked in the multi-story in the end so all good.
