Keeping a 3 month old out of the sun?

We are going on holiday soon and expect Spain to be extra hit this summer. How can I help my 3 month old cope, especially at the beach?

At the moment she screams in the pram, but obviously cant carry her if shes going to be in the sun. Husband says we should take lightweight stroller but I think shes too small for this? Plus would then have even less protection from the sun.

Imagine there wont be any shade at the pool or beach. Did think about a pop up sun tent thing but seems quite big to put in a suitcase.

What do other people do?

Shoukd say weve got 2 other kids so need something very easy to set up, and lightweight as we'll have so many people to suncream and things to carry etc.

Help?!

If it stays this hot over there, I suspect you'll end up taking turns to be in the nice aircon room with her.

Yes possibly for some of the time but we also want to make memories with our other children. Any practical suggestions please?

Get a pop up tent when you get there if you can't got one in to travel with.

Definitely get a lightweight stroller. you can get many that lie flat...perfect for 3 months old. And we added a diono pop up sunshade maker to ours and made sure he was in shade, under a parasol etc.
Opt for nice long lunches in a cool restaurant during the hottest hours. Have a nice hol!
