Anyone been? We’ve just booked for a couple of weeks time.
Any tips? I have read lots of mosquitos so will make sure we take lots of spray etc.
We are also driving Shock so will be looking for nice places to stop on the way there and back.
Thanks

We were there last year. We all loved it.
Tips..hmmm... yes, mosquito spray is a must. I found I needed a shade for the beach as they charge for sun loungers and sometimes they have none available. There’s a little fairground at night which the children loved so be aware you’re going to be pestered by your children! Also a market came a couple of times a week to the site. It was pretty good.
It’s close to Venice and we went there for a day which was enough for the dcs. It’s a large site so a fair amount of walking. We loved the happy hour for gelato in the evening. Enjoy it; it’s hard not to!

Thanks @holidaydreaming I’m quite excited! Will stock up on mosaic spray and bite cream!!
Were the restaurants on site good? Very expensive or not?

Also on eurocamp site it says no inflatables but looking at photos of the lagoon pool and I can see people with some? Kids want to know as I will buy them some to take (much cheaper than buying them on site!!)
I suppose we could buy a parasol here and take it with us??!

Last year we definitely had inflatables in the pool as did lots of others. Also they can’t restrict you in the sea so I’d be bringing a little dinghy or lilo for there.
I don’t think Italy do cheap meals out but we had pizza there and it can’t have been eye watering or I would have remembered it.
If you’re going to buy a parasol then get one with a spike at the bottom then it will dig into the sand. We’ve just got back from Italy and that’s what all the Italians have.
Other things that I put down to remember is to bring a few dishwasher tabs/some washing powder/fajita or spice mix, just normal things for self catering that you don’t necessarily want to buy a job lot of when you’re away.
Hth.

We’ve been twice but probably 6 or 7 years ago. Loved it but just make sure you spray with mosquito repellent and cover up of an evening - I didn’t actually get bitten but dp did on multiple occasions Confused
Very efficient set up, very busy with a lot of mainly German visitors who’ve driven down with their camper vans etc. Hire bikes - you can cycle round the site but also to a nearby town on a cycle path - can’t remember the name but it was very quaint and picturesque. Loads of onsite restaurants mainly pizza pasta - they were ok and a brilliant gelleratia for ice cream. Quite a lot of greenery and grassy areas, and yes there was an evening play area for younger kids with loads of bouncy castles etc my kids loved it !
