Does packing your clothes with tissue paper make any difference?

I would guess it depends on the material. Man made fibres or knitwear or cottons , I tend to roll. Silk or linen I avoid packing. Normally only use tissue with embellished items to stop beads, sequins catching.

I've tried it, and I don't think it helps. But what does work is packing things on hangers, inside those thin plastic bags of the sort dry cleaners use. I think it's the fact that a bit of air gets trapped inside the bag and stops clothes creasing so much.

Try packing cubes. You tube has videos.
