Does anyone take holidays in big groups? We've been doing this for years, started before we had children, and it has gone from strength to strength since we all started having families, and now there's generally 20-26 of us holidaying every summer. We always get large house (or groups of houses), but I've already started thinking for next summer (having not even gone on this year's yet!), and am starting to think further afield.
We've generally stayed around France & Italy (relatively lots of options), with the odd foray to Spain and Portugal, but I'd quite like to try somewhere new, as much as I've loved our various stays. I've looked at lots and lots of villa rental sights, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for somewhere a bit different (still in Europe). Budget tends to be around the £1k per family mark (so let's say up to £7k for a week), and I'd be particularly interested in Greece/Greek Islands, Corsica, Sardinia (yes I know these are France/Italy, but never been there), Croatia, possibly Germany or Austria, or further East, like Poland, Czech Republic etc.
We're relatively particular - no sleeping on sofa beds or the such, tend to go with approx 2 bedrooms per family, and there's usually 4-6 families that go.
Has anyone gone anywhere good? Thanks in advance!
