flights to Australia - who should we be booking through?

We are planning a trip to Australia in June next year and are trying to get some flights booked.
I have read on other threads that Singapore Airlines are very good, expecially for help/patience with the children.

But who do i contact to get the best deals. I've had recommended to me Travel Mood and have some prices from them but of course I need to do some more homework before booking in case I can get them cheaper.

Any ideas please gratefully received.

We are flying tomorrow, and I booked direct with Singapore airlines. Found them to be cheapest by far (for this time of the year anyway) and are most helpful with a toddler. But yes, ring around and investigate lots to get the best deals. They vary so much.

We always used to book with Travelbag, there are really helpful.
Definitely recommend Singapore or Malaysian, I never bother with any others

We got our flights through flight centre.co.uk booked online using credit card and they sent the tickets out to us.

again a vote for Singapore - we have flown with them twice - once dd was 8 months and then earlier this year when she was almost 2.

Have also flown Japan airlines, United airlines, Lufthansa/Thai, American and Qantas and definitely in terms of travelling with kids - Singapore or have heard good things about Malaysian.

Try booking through Singapore Airlines. We had a bad experience with ebookers....

I always find opodo.co.uk to be competitive and sometimes travelocity.co.uk Their online booking systems are very fast and efficient so check them both out, it's no bother.
Good luck.
Oh, and Beccles I haven't been able to utilise the BA.com flight search/booking facility for well over a week. Their website announces an error as soon as I log in. As a matter of interest have you had any problems?

Probably too late, but this site is good for finding cheap deals: www.kangarooclub.co.uk/
