Hi looking for some advice.
I leave for Budapest on Thursday, get there around 5pm ish, then leave early Sunday morning. All touristy things and apartment are payed for, so will only need money for food and drinks. I was wondering what the best thing to do regarding money would be? Will I take English money with me, just my debit card? Or will I exchange my money now? Also, how much money should I take?
Thanks.

Have a look on the Budapest forum of Trip adviser. Lots of info there about money / currency.
English money won't be much use. The currency is Forints (HUF).
Usually best to get currency abroad at an ATM, though not at the airport.
Is your journey from airport to hotel covered? Make sure you choose the option to pay in HUF when using cards.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and took out only a small amount of cash. They have a very good contactless set up so I just used my debit card for most things in the same way I would at home. Its a fab city - I want to go back!

When I went (about 5/6 years ago) the exchange rate was the same in the UK so I changed a bit up over here and did the rest as and when I needed it.
