Milan advice?

I have a short morning to kill in or on the east of Milan on a hot sunny day prior to a business meeting. I fly into Linate.
Do you have any ideas on something to do? In reality I won't have much time for more than a quick wander and something to eat. I'm just not sure where to go other than staying in the airport which seems safe but miserable.

Is your meeting at the airport? How much time do you have? and how much do you want to spend?
There's really not much at the airport so if you have an hour to spend on travelling back and forth by taxi (probably wouldn't take that long but to be on the safe side) and don't mind spending the money I would take a taxi to the Duomo and have a coffee and ice cream at the Terrazza Aperol and watch the world go by then wander through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele before heading back. Bit of a touristy thing to do but it would make me happy!

As above Galleria Emanuele and also the department store next door go to top floor amazing roof restaurants with great views of Milan

The meeting is about 10-15 minutes from the airport out of town in a not very interesting looking area.

I have about 2 and a half hours to kill.
