Where to go in January for sun

Where would you travel to in January 2020 with a three year old? Options are South Africa, Nepal and India(have never been to Nepal and would finish the trip with a week in Goa for the sun part) or somewhere in South East Asia? We've previously been to Thailand and Cambodia as a family. Grandparents will likely come too.We'll travel for upto a month , will probably use Qatar airlines and will stay at mid range places upto 100 Euro per night. TIA

I'd probably go to SE Asia. I'd be too worried about gastric illness to go to India or Nepal and there is earthquake risk in Nepal too. South Africa would be a possibility too, but for a month? I reckon two weeks would be enough.

I know a lot of families who have gone to Vietnam and really loved it, mainly with older kids though. With a 3yo I would definitely stick to SE Asia countries from your list.

Thank you both for your help.I'm actually veering towards Vietnam as I know the country. Qatar also have good prices flying into Hanoi and out of Chiang Mai so we can do a week beach holiday somewhere in Thailand too.
