where shall we go for christmas-y weekend break for our anniversary in December?

Well, the obvious choice is Prague I know and I would love to go but it does seem quite expensive these days (flights particularly so). Any other tips for a weekend break that is going to have christmas markets and mulled wine and food stalls serving yummy food and fairly lights and decorations(I think you get the picture)!

Vienna, if you can get to Luton check out new easyjet route to Vienna. Alternatively to find cheapest european flights (compares all by month or exact dates) look at www.skyscanner.net, I use it all the time.

Hamburg or Berlin! Very Christmasy, lovely places full of life over that time of year (as well as the usual art, culture etc) and only 1-2 hrs flight.
