There's lots of interesting stuff to look at such as the city signs, (play 'guess what this city is famous for') road side sculptures, and (i have utterly and ridiculously forgotten the word) those things like dams.

Other than that, break it up with Campaniles!

Sounds good newlife... staying over at Novotel on the way, and driving for 7 hrs-ish for 2 days. Yikes!!

Get some audiotapes.

It is a bit 'yikes' isn't it?! I did it last July (you'll need your air con ) and I had to contend with grumpy non map reading dp, 5 escapee cats and 3 dc. The dc were fine!

We did it with one night stop but did the majority of the drive on day ! and left about 4 hours to finish off the next day. We were moving house and were trying to get there as quickly as possible and I thought I could do it in 1 long drive (xdp does not drive) - more fool me!

If you have croissants and coffee you'll be fine.
