Looking for ideas for Christmas break!

Hi, we're looking into ideas for a Christmas, probably no longer than a week.

There are four us going - 2 adults (DH and me), DS1 who is 3, and DS2 who will be 1.

We went skiing at Christmas time two years ago, and DS1 was too young to ski or to leave in a nursery, so while he might just be old enough now, we would have the same problem with DS2.

We have thought about going somewhere warm, like Morocco or Madeira, but we don't know yet.

Any ideas?

Thx

I live in the southwest of France and usually have much the same weather as your area. Christmas day was -5 degrees and the weather had been that bad for the previous 10 days, very unusual for here though I agree. It can be pleasant but difficult to predict, we've not had a hot one for many years now.

As a French resident I would say that France is a pretty miserable place at Christmas if you want to really get into the spirit of things. It's all over by the 25th and so it will be down to you to make your own fun.

I'm looking from an escape from here for new year!
