I've booked last minute for myself, partner and 7 year old to holiday in Fuerteventura, near Corralejo. Any advice on things we should do? We've booked a villa so planning a few lazy days reading by the pool but need to get out and about too. Should we hire a car?
Thanks.

We hired a car and drove from costa caleta down to jandia, was a lovely day out, roads were easy to navigate. Have you driven abroad before ? If not be careful at the roundabouts as you have to give way to others whilst you are on it. There are some amazing views and beauty spots on the way down the Island to stop off at. Enjoy your trip it it a lovely place to stay.

Definitely hire a car so you can get to see other beaches although Corralejo is one of the nicest. We've been going to Fuerteventura for over 30 years and love it. Don't worry about driving, the roads and roundabouts are fine.
