I'm going on holiday with a 4 week old to Portugal. Weve got a villa so it will be like home from home, there is 9 adults ranging from 26 to 60 so it's not as if theres not much help.
Just wondering if anybody has been on holiday with a new born. What you would advice if anything.

Please don't tell me I'm mad I keep getting this a lot but health visitor said ig was ok. Also the holiday was booked before I got pregnant.

I'm sure you don't need anyone to tell you to keep baby cool !

Packing can be a nightmare, can you check out whether what you need (nappies, formula maybe) is available in local shops?

DH & I always pack a set of clothing for both of us in each cabin bag - hold luggage has gone astray 3 times. So I'd suggest you distribute the tiny clothes in all your cases.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

It might be possible to get nappies (obv very bulky) delivered to the villa if you order online? We’ve done this before - of course agree with the owner first!

I went on holiday with a newborn a couple of years ago...nowhere near as bad as I was expecting! Enjoy!
