EasyJet infant luggage allowance

Hello

We are flying with EasyJet in the next few days.

I know they allow infants to take two free travel items (I.e. car seat/travel cot). We are planning on using one of these items as the car seat.

We have the babyzen yoyo and plan to take that on board with us. Can we then use the infant allowance to put a wheelie case in the hold as well as the car seat???

Thanks in advance.

No, because the wheely case isn’t an infant item!

You can chance it and say there is a travel cot in there but I would be amazed if they let you get away with it

It’s not designed to let you dodge paying for bags...

Bugger. Thanks for the reply! Technically the wheelie case is for the infant as it has all his clothes in it Grin we probably won’t try to risk and will stuff our suitcase to the brim. Who knew babies had so much paraphernalia!!!

We flew with EJ a few weeks ago and when we got to the gate a friendly stewardess saw us struggling with 2 under 2 and our luggage so offered to check DH and I’s carry on wheely cases. We chanced our arm and asked on our return flight if they could do the same again and they were more than happy to help.

I think it’s handier for them when more people check carry on luggage- saves on stewards having to squeeze cases into the overhead lockers and it means it’s quicker getting people off the aircraft on the other side.
