Toddler friendly holiday recommendations

Last year we stayed in a brilliant Tots to Travel site in Brittany with pool and play areas. It was brilliant but we missed being walking distance to a village for a morning croissant!

Can anyone recommend somewhere for next year that fits the list below; (it’s quite picky so things we can compromise on are *).

Small site of villas/cottages- no more than 7/8 ideally
Pool
Play equipment for small children
Somewhere warm but not too hot (France ideally)
Short drive from an airport or ferry *
Walkable to a village with shop and restaurant
Walkable to a beach *

We are now weighing up whether it’s better to go to Brittany so we can do the ferry there and have our cars, rather than fly and hire 3 cars. We used to drive down to the south of France but don’t want to do it with 3 babies/toddlers.
