Spending money?

How much spending money do we need for two weeks and in Majorca? Two dcs and dh and I, hire car petrol to explore the island and days out money. We are staying in a villa so probably breakfast in but most lunches and dinners out. Maybe some bbqs in the villa.

I’m self catering in Portugal for a week and planning to take £1000.

That’s for DP me and DDs aged 14 and 12. If the kids are small you could probably get away with less. Used to take half that when the kids were little. So between £1&2k depending on the ages of DC and what you intend to do when there.

We take £200 a day, so on that basis £2800. Fuel is quite expensive from what i remember.

We are a family of 5 though, and that includes a round of ice creams (£10), drink stop (£10), breakfast at the villa (£10), lunch shared pizzas/sandwiches/salad (£40), dinner with wine (£50-80), then some left for activities and shops.

We find it cheaper doing long haul all inclusive. But we prefer the villas!
