Going to Brighton for 3 nights with DH - things to do?

Booked a weekend break for next month before DS2 arrives. DS1 will be spoiled by staying with MIL so it’ll just be me & DH. I can’t do anything too strenuous (I’ll be 34w) but would like little activities planned (lie ins aside).

Any ideas?

Poking around the little shops under the promenade is fun. There are plenty of cafes to stop in when you get tired. Strolling along the pier, watching the world go by is nice too.

Beach!
Sculpture trail (or just happen across random sculptures on your wanders)
Comedy gigs - there's quite a scene, and probably a lot at the moment in prep for Edinburgh fringe
Go to Wai Kika Moo Cau for food and like me take forever to work out its name
Have an evening meal in Terre a Terre
Visit the pavillion
Visit the lanes
Visit the pier

Have fun! It's a lovely town.

Top tip - don't plan on driving around the place. Either go by train or ensure where you are staying has parking permits, and make use of the busses sounds town - Google maps tells you where to go to catch a bus etc and it's great!

I used to like the Lanes.

Pier, lanes, the Pavilion, beach

The South Lanes are where most daytrippers go but the North Lanes are more authentically Brighton. The marina is dull so skip. Go on the pier and into the Pavillion. Comedy gigs are a good recommendation
