I have left it really late again I know but need to book a holiday, probably for a week in August. We went to Rovinj in Croatia last year to Hotel Lone. It was lovely and I really liked the calm warm water,being in a bay, being next to a green forest where you could cycle and with little areas to swim and being able to always get a sunbed which you could put under the shady trees. The pool was good and not too busy. Rovinj itself was ok but quite small and far too busy with the cruise ships dropping off hundreds of people each evening. It was also expensive and probably better for a few days rather than a whole week. Is there anywhere that would have most of what I have described but be nearer a nicer town or village with beautiful food/ restaurants, nice views and some luxury. We are two adults and 2 kids ( 12 and 14) We don't mind doing a package or booking accommodation and hotel/ apartment etc separately. I think we are quite fussy! Which is why I hate booking holidays and always leave it to the last minute. Can any one help?
