Hiya!
Out of interest
What do you find difficult about travelling with children :)

The parents!

  • lack of a real "rest" e.g. when you are by the pool one of you is always "on duty" so you don't get time to switch off together
  • the amount of stuff to take - especially when babies; nappies, milk, etc
  • all being in one room!

Other than that it's great and don't be put off!

Generally love it. They do need lots of activities close / on site by but once that is sorted its great fun.

Food can be tricky at some places - DD is veggie and DS is ASD with restricted diet but any AI will have food they both eat. Trying to explain DD is veggie in France though can be difficult and they seem to think fish is a vegetable.

Frequent travel sickness just as we pull into the airport or at an airport and having to change clothes and carry the smelly ones! As the youngest DD's sisters all both grown ups, constant demands to come into the pool when I just want to kick back and read. And ordering dishes and then refusing to eat them as 'it looks weird!'
